AMA Corporate Events sets forth our privacy website policy with regard to the use of our site and with respect to your personal information. By accessing our site, you acknowledge and agree to AMA's privacy policy and consent to the use and collection of your information as described below.
All personally identifiable information including but not limited to your name, address, phone number and email is only obtained by AMA upon your voluntary submission. This information is used to provide you with services and other website related details via registration, requests or other transactions within our website.
The use of your information is collected to help our specialists determine your needs, improve the website's services and reply to your inquiries. Information will not be shared nor sold to 3rd parties for marketing or other activities. Personally Identifiable information will only be disclosed under legal requirements as required and/or permitted by law. Information collected by AMA is transmitted to and from our site using industry standard SSL connections.
Non personally identifiable information automatically collected by the browser and other entities is not used or stored by AMA.
AMA website is for use of persons 13 and older as approved by the Children's Privacy Act. Children under the age of 13 who submit personal information shall be deleted from our records.
The use of cookies (a small text file placed by a webserver onto your hard drive) is a feature commonly used. Cookies allow for sites to remember your specific information to make your subsequent visits easier and more relevant. Thank you for choosing AMA Corporate Events for your travels. Below are a few important reminders to ensure your trip is magical!
· PASSPORTS: Everyone, including adults, children and infants require a VALID passport to travel internationally (Passport Card will not be accepted). Failure to comply will result in denial of boarding and void refund, no exceptions (out of the USA). Passports are required to be valid for 6 months from your return date. PASSPORT CARDS ARE NOT VALID FOR TRAVEL INTERNATIONALLY VIA AIR!
· CRUISES: Required Cruise Documentation varies depending on the citizenship of the traveler and the ports on the itinerary. For more information visit: https://help.cbp.gov/app/answers/detail/a_id/1139/~/documents-needed-to-take-a-cruise
· VISAS: Visas are usually required for international travel and are an additional expense and time to process. Conviction of certain crimes in the US may exclude travelers from obtaining visas to many countries. · CHANGES TO RESERVATIONS: ANY changes made to your existing room reservation are subject to the current rates, promotions, and terms at the time of change. A $50-$100 change fee may be applied by resorts. AMA Corporate Events is not responsible for price increases, unavailability of resorts or other amenities due to changes.
· CANCELLATION PENALTIES: Resort and related services MAY assess a cancellation penalty in the event the contract is cancelled or not fulfilled as agreed. Airline tickets are 100% non- refundable and subject to individual airline penalties/fees based on flight category (see insurance below).
· LATE FEES: Final payments not received prior to the due date above will incur a $50 per person late fee. All reservations are subject to cancellation and hotel penalties as described in your contract, if final payment is not received on the due date. Late fees are not covered by the travel insurance and are always non-refundable.
· TRAVEL INSURANCE is available for a small fee to cover most incidents, with the exception of late fees. If you do not purchase insurance – natural disasters (such as increment weather), cancellations for ANY reason including but not limited to medical/personal emergencies, cancellation of the event, or other occurrences do not relieve you of your responsibility to cover fees and penalties. All cancellations must be received in writing to ensure proper documentation of your reservations.
· CANCEL FOR ANY REASON TRAVEL INSURANCE: Cancel for Any Reason Insurance is available and may only be purchased during original purchase of your reservations and cannot be added after the initial trip deposit is received. Your AMA Corporate Events Specialist will be happy to provide you with the cost of an insurance policy as part of your initial quote. Cancel for Any Reason Insurance will allow you to cancel for any reason up to the morning of departure (prior to flight departure) with full refund (minus insurance policy cost), and provides baggage loss, trip delay or interruption (weather & mechanical reasons) & medical expenses (secondary policy). Insurance does NOT cover items you purchase outside AMA Corporate Events (i.e. airfare, tours, excursions etc.). Please Note: if you initially reserve a room only package & add airfare to the package through AMA Corporate Events at a later date your cancel for any reason insurance policy cost will be adjusted to accommodate the revised total trip package cost at that time. This plan does not include increased rates associated with a change in the number of individuals occupying a room. If the number of individuals occupying a room change, the remaining travelers will be responsible for any additional costs incurred as a result of the change in the per-person occupancy rate.
· FINAL PAYMENT: The final payment MUST be received NO LATER THAN 45 days prior to departure for land packages and 75 days prior to departure for cruise packages. Final payments are not automatically charged. Reminders will be sent via email, however, AMA Corporate Events is not liable for computer or email malfunctions, cancellations due to payments made after this date or additional fees or penalties incurred.
· TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: Travel documents will be sent to you no later than five (5) days prior to departure date via mail or email depending on the vendor policy. Please read through your documents immediately for misprints, misspellings, incorrect dates etc. Included in your travel documents (if airfare is purchased through AMA Corporate Events) are airline electronic ticket receipts Boarding passes are printed at the time of check in; online with the airline directly, or at the airport when showing passport & checking in luggage. It is very important that you take your travel documents with you in addition to passports and a major credit card for any baggage fees that may apply.
· AIRLINE SCHEDULE CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS: Occasionally airlines change flight schedules and may even cancel flights entirely. These changes are beyond AMA Corporate Events' control. In the event such a situation occur, AMA Corporate Events will do our very best to assist you with finding the best possible alternate option(s). If the flight time change is minor (2 hours or less) the airline will automatically make the change (airline policies/rules entitle them to do so). AMA Corporate Events will notify you of major changes. Please Note: there may be additional costs to re-book a new flight should the airline cancel or make a major change to your original flight itinerary. AMA Corporate Events is NOT responsible for any additional costs or fees imposed by the airlines. It is the responsibility of the passenger to check for last minute airline flight time changes within 24 hours of departure. AMA Corporate Events is not responsible for changes that may occur within 24 hours of original flight departure time.
· BAGGAGE FEES: Due to continual changes in airline baggage policies it is suggested that you inquire with your airline's website for up-to-date fees & information. AMA Corporate Events is NOT responsible for additional fees incurred for baggage or seating. BAGGAGE FEES ARE NOT PART OF AN ALL-INCLUSIVE PACKAGE! Please review "Updated Checked Bag and Carryon Bag Rules" at www.TSA.gov
· RE-CONFIRM YOUR FLIGHTS: AMA Corporate Events advises you to re-confirm your flight schedule within 24 hours prior to departure directly with the airline in case of any last-minute changes or delays. Most airlines allow you to check in online 24 hours prior to departure using the “Record Locator” (found in your documents)
· AIRLINE CHECK IN: Please check in with your airline at the airport no later than two (4) hours prior to scheduled flight departure time.
· PROPERTY CHECK IN: Check-in time at most resorts is 3:00pm (local time). If you arrive prior to 3:00pm your room may not be ready. The resort will store your luggage in a secure location on property so you may start enjoying the amenities without delay, as you await to be notified that your room accommodation is ready for check in.
· DRESS CODE: Please be advised resort restaurants may require long pants, collared shirt, & Closed-toe shoes for Male Patrons and dresses or formal attire for Female Patrons.
